Marion County offers first-class educational opportunities from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary.
There are four elementary schools, two middle schools and four high schools, along with one school that offers classes from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Also available in Marion County is a satellite campus of Chattanooga State Community College, a comprehensive, regionally accredited community college in the Tennessee Board of Regents College System. Chattanooga State offers academic and technical training in a number of fields. They also give students the opportunity to participate in dual enrollment classes while still in high school. A new building offering state-of-the-art equipment has just been completed. Groundbreaking for a second building is expected in the near future.
